FRENCH SPEAKING IMPORT COORDINATOR


Our client provides administration and marketing services for a worldwide based removals company.

European work experience is a non-negotiable requirement

Position available immediately

LOCATION: Cape Town, South Africa


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Account coordination includes total visibility from origin to destination:
- Handling customer service with the highest of expectations
- Tracking cargo
- Coordinating freight logistics
- Customer service, bookings, documentation, routing of assigned shipments.
- Review all documents, contact all first-time customers, and handle other tasks as needed.
- Ensure that shipments are processed through France Customs Service in a timely and efficient manner and that customer requirements are fulfilled
- Communication with shipping companies to assure smooth work flow and customer satisfaction.
- Call customers when necessary to advise shipment status and/or obtain information necessary to process shipments.
- The candidate will also perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent written and verbal French communication skills
- Work experience in Europe
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as import coordinator would be a plus
- Ability to generate creative solutions and/or problem solve
- Very strong computer/tech skills (strong Excel, Office, proprietary databases)
- Critical thinker
- Must be resourceful, flexible, organized, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
