Senior Project Engineer The Senior Project Engineer will ensure all the equipment sized to spec and then selected based on stipulated budget requirements. Note: Only South African Citizens or permanent residents will be considered. Requirements: • BSc Engineering Degree Mechanical or NHD Mechanical Engineering • Experience in planning, equipment selection, sizing of equipment or project engineering • Experience in mining related industry or project management houses Requirements: • Secure expertise when and where needed – and to identify when such expertise are required. • Draft equipment requirements and to size the equipment. • Liaise with equipment suppliers and select the equipment to be purchased. • Liaise with the Procurement Department and the equipment supplier during the purchasing of the equipment. • Drive the job by the schedule – and not to lose focus of schedule. • Ensure that all work in progress is completed on time and to high quality standards. • Follow the work procedures. • Contracting work out. • Coordinating transport and deliveries. • Generating project costs and quotations.
