My client in Internet Outsourcing division has a great opportunity for a Japanese mother-tongue speaker who can work independently AND within a team, is an ambitious out-of-the-box thinker and who seeks to work within an online marketing environment that boasts a multi-national staff contingent.

The successful candidate will join the Loyalty & Promotions team, within the Global Customer Retention division, and will focus on building the Japanese brand, establishing an ongoing relationship with Japanese speaking customers across the business, as well as managing one of the brands serviced within the business and ensuring the smooth implementation and execution of retention and loyalty activities of this brand. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of the Japanese region, including marketing and operational activities within websites, marketing media, software, games, retention, etc.

Requirements:
• Project Management experience
• Customer Relationship Management / Marketing / CRM experience
• Strong understanding of online technology and marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and related packages; especially Excel
• Numerical and Analytical skills
• Budgeting and project management skills
• Copy writing skills
• Basic HTML coding experience
• A positive and resilient attitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to add strategic and operational value
• Experience in web content management and localization

Duties will include (and not be limited to):
• Supporting the business in direct Japanese player interaction.
• Assisting the team with the formulation and compiling of creative and innovative Promotional Concepts.
• Ensure that the Promotional Calendar is updated with dates and events pertaining to your brand and region (especially Japanese).
• Briefing relevant promotional information to studio.
• Collate reporting data for presentation to team manager.
• Compilation of a comprehensive guard book for the all promotional and product activity.
• Ensure distribution of ad hoc all-player communications relating to the brand and incorporating these messages into existing communication vehicles from other teams where possible.
• Promotion fulfillment where required.
• Keep abreast of Japanese promotional activity on competitors and ensuring that team is briefed on promotional trends and elements critical to our promotion planning and execution.
• Work closely with regional teams to support player trigger communications in Japanese.
• Assisting Loyalty & Promotions Manager with incorporating business initiatives into the brand and executing all player communications around these events, including:
o Planning the development and implementation of creative briefs around the above events.
o Co-ordinate promotions set up, mailing and fulfilment for relevant promotions pertaining to these launches.
• Involvement in special projects where needed.
• Successful grow Japanese region to ultimately:
o Managing processes relevant to regional market development, player retention and customer service.
o Manage resources to ensure that the appropriate attention is given to the Japanese regional market.
o Drive achievement of regional strategy.
o Monitor and maintain quality of regional market.
